Architect
DESCRIPTION
We are searching for an experienced senior architect to oversee the company's construction projects. As the senior architect, you will mentor other Architects, interpret client briefs, and review contracts and designs. You should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software, and the ability to handle negative feedback.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications.
Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects.
Considering constraints such as town planning legislation, environmental impacts and project budgets.
Working closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers, building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists.
Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts.
Specifying the requirements for each project.
Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction.
Playing a role in project and team management.
Viewing building sites, proposed locations and client meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any other related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Architect in a Construction Company.
In-depth knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
Proficient in English (oral and written).
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
Strong communication and people skills.
Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Problem-solving skills.
